Miles Thurston - 2plan Recruitment Director

Miles represents 2plan as a Recruitment Director & Independent Financial Adviser on the South Coast. Born 4th April 1964, raised on the Isle of Wight, Miles has also had the opportunity of working the London, Kent and Somerset areas. He is married to Nikki and has two children, Joshua (1991) and Mimi (1996).

Miles went to Bembridge School (on the Isle of Wight). He was named school prefect, sports captain and achieved 2 'A' Levels and 6 '0' Levels. Miles joined the Financial Services Industry in 1987, working with in the past FPS/General Portfolio (5 years), Norwich Union (2 years), Allied Dunbar (7 years) & Positive Solutions (6 years). He joined 2plan April 2007.

As a Recruitment Director, Miles combines a rich background of financial sales experience with the ability to identify modern trends and relate to the objectives and priorities of Financial Advisers. He has recruited 150+ Financial Advisers from both Tied & IFA backgrounds, since April 2001. Miles enjoys the opportunity that working within 2plan gives him to make a difference in the lives of the Financial Advisers that become Members.

Miles likes to keep fit; he enjoys "Sanshangong" – Kung Fu, going to the gym and has competed in several half-marathons and in 1999 completed The London Marathon. He also enjoys skiing, going to the cinema, watching films/DVD's computing and travelling aboard especially to the US with his family.
