Mark Smith - IT Director; 2plan Group

Mark joined the group in October 2006 in order to build and implement scalable computer systems capable of controlling and managing the business over the next 10 years.

Prior to the 2 plan group he was formally Executive Director and major shareholder of RGS Acquisitions Ltd which owned and operated the Genesis home loans brand (now GHL Group). GHL Group operates a number of business models within the mortgage industry. During his time at Genesis Mark successfully saw the company through a management buyout from Merrill Lynch and the acquisition and take over of the Guaranteed Home Loans group of companies.

Before joining Genesis in February 2005 Mark was Executive IT Director with Positive Solutions where he had been since September 1998 creating multi-award winning computer systems for all aspects of the business processes.

Mark lives with his partner and 2 children in Peterborough.
