Ian Smith, recruitment director

Ian has been involved in financial services for 25 years having worked for 3 major financial services providers, initially as an IFA consultant before moving into becoming a National Account Manager and latterly Head of IFA sales.

In the year 2000 Ian formed his own consultancy business specialising in providing strategic consultancy advice, business and people development training for a range of clients such as Virgin, Standard Life, Prudential, Canada Life, Oracle and many other internationally recognised brands. Ian sold this business in 2005 and worked as a Business Consultant for Positive Solutions, as well as completing his honours degree in Psychology.

Ian lives with his partner Julie and their 5 year old daughter Charlie in Worcester, where he enjoys an active social life, going to the gym, watching rugby and playing and teaching the guitar, as well as collecting fine wines.
